Kevin Clements, President/CEO of Claremont Communications, has spent 20 years in the communications industry.

His public relations professionalism comes from extensive radio and television broadcasting experience... as a broadcaster, producer and director. He has received two awards for television commercial production in the Retail Competition Category from the Television Bureau of Canada.

Kevin has been writing for general audiences on information technology issues for over 14 years. In 1990, he was part of a team recognized with the United States Library of Congress Award for Integration of Technology into the Junior Classroom.

Dedicated to excellence, Kevin is a world renowned instructor teaching various subjects from business management to computer technology. He cites two of his favorite experiences teaching: 120 Egyptian students UNIX at the Sadat Academy for Management Sciences via video conferencing and in Beijing China teaching China Netcom staff how to communicate effectively for the Beijing 2008 Olympics. Around the world or at home Kevin is adept at simplifying complex issues and presenting ideas clearly. He effectively guides interactive sessions to create an active learning environment.

  • "Healthy Eating Basics" Brief Course Description: This six week course is valuable for those wanting to make healthier dietary choices and improve their overall eating habits. Topics include: overcoming barriers to healthy eating; reading labels; menu planning; importance of fruit, vegetables, grains, dairy, soy, beans, and fish; health implications of sugar and sodium; and the truth about fats. In-class demonstrations, activities and food sampling.
  • The "Nutrition Smarts"program. Learn the basis of a healthy eating plan developed by researchers at leading U.S. Medical centers. This science-based eating plan focuses on the healthiest dietary changes that you can make, to help you reduce your risk of disease.

Debbie has developed the Nutrition Smarts program to provide nutrition education and health promotion services. Using her diverse experience and knowledge, Debbie is now dedicated to nutrition coaching. Debbie is looking forward to helping you achieve better health. She can be your guide on the road to wellness!

Debbie studied nutrition at the University of Ottawa, graduating at the top of her class. She received a prestigious Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) scholarship, which allowed her to conduct graduate research on vitamin D and earn a Masters degree in biochemistry.

She provided valuable insight to the general public and doctors alike, in her role as Health Information Officer for a vitamin compounding laboratory in Ottawa. Debbie also coordinated clinical services for a nutritional testing laboratory. She moved to Fredericton in 2000 to work as a Nutritionist for Claremont Communications.
